I dedicate this watercolour and collage to Kathleen [link] who is an amazing Fractal Artist so pop around to her amazing site and give your eyes a treat.
I have painted this handsome lad on watercolour paper and then glued Japanese tissues on to get some nice texture and then gone over with watercolour once more

Okay I'm super diggign the texturing you added on. The tissue didn't fall apart when you watercolored over it? (well obviously not, ut it still surprises me)

I almost finished the painting and then I got some watery PVA glue and various ripped japanese tissues which I then glued all over apart from the blue sky bit...see the opaque yellow tissue around his bob tail?
I then went back over the painting with paint using dry brush and wet into wet...but watching as the tissue is very absorbent!
